Silent technology, exceptional service
In Dubai, where every detail matters, Seddiqi Holding has turned the purchase of a luxury watch into an experience that goes far beyond the product. Behind every boutique conversation, every demonstration and every purchase, an Apple device works in the background to make everything seem effortless.
When Seddiqi decided to take its digital transformation further, it was looking for something very specific: technology as solid and secure as it was discreet. Technology that would protect the business while respecting the essence of the brand: exquisite service, an unhurried pace and absolute trust.
The challenge: caring for the experience at every touchpoint
The story begins with constant growth. More stores, more teams, more customer interaction. And with it, a quiet challenge:
- Around 60 Macs that needed to be kept secure, updated and ready to work, without relying on constant IT support tickets.
- Around 200 iPads in stores that had become key tools: catalogue, CRM, customer support, training. Each one had to work just as well, in every boutique, every day.
The priority was clear: protect the business without breaking the magic of the in-store experience. No interruptions, no “sorry, the system is down today”. Just continuity, precision and trust.
The decision: an Apple ecosystem managed with JAMF
Guided by Apple Retail’s Business team in Dubai, Seddiqi Holding trusted Setek to shape a strategy combining the best of the Apple ecosystem with the power of JAMF Pro, Protect and Connect:
- JAMF Pro to orchestrate every Mac and iPad from a single point of control.
- JAMF Protect to anticipate threats and keep devices safe.
- JAMF Connect to ensure that only trusted devices with the right security level access the company’s critical resources, following a Zero Trust approach.
The implementation: no noise, no friction
The transition began in phases. First small groups of devices, then more stores and users. Boutique staff did not need to learn complex processes or change their routine: the iPads were the same, only now better protected and better prepared.
On store iPads: unwanted changes were blocked to prevent misconfigurations and ensure a consistent experience across all points of sale. Critical applications were deployed remotely and quickly.
On Macs: protection against cyberattacks became a continuous, background process managed through JAMF Protect. Access was unified with Microsoft 365. With Zero Trust Network Access, access to internal resources was conditioned on device security status.
The result: luxury on the outside, precision on the inside
Today, when a customer enters a Seddiqi Holding boutique, they do not see JAMF, configurations or security policies. They see personalised service, expert advice and a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Boutiques can open each day knowing their iPads are ready, configured and aligned with the brand image.
- Macs have become reliable, secure tools rather than a constant source of support tickets.
- The IT team gains time for strategic projects instead of firefighting.
More than a project, an alliance
This case is not just a technical implementation. It is proof that when Apple, JAMF and a specialised partner work aligned with the client’s vision, technology transforms into competitive advantage. Seddiqi Holding can continue growing, opening new stores and raising the bar for luxury retail experience, knowing its Apple ecosystem is protected, managed and ready for every step ahead.
